Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total service value is required to secure all appointments at Nubia. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment. Deposits can be paid via EFT, card, or cash. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received and acknowledged by a member of the Nubia team. You will receive a booking confirmation via email or WhatsApp once the deposit is processed.

Cancellation Notice

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another client. Unanswered messages or voicemails do not constitute a confirmed cancellation.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. This policy exists because late cancellations prevent us from filling the appointment slot and represent a cost to our business and therapists. We understand that emergencies occur. In exceptional circumstances, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a credit toward a future appointment rather than forfeiting the deposit. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

No-Show Policy

Clients who do not arrive for their appointment without prior notice will forfeit their deposit in full. Repeated no-shows may result in the requirement of full pre-payment for future bookings.

Tardiness

We ask all clients to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may have their treatment time shortened to avoid disruption to subsequent appointments. The full treatment price remains payable regardless of the time available. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can advise on the best course of action.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests made with more than 24 hours notice will be accommodated at no additional charge, subject to availability. The deposit is transferred to the new appointment. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment are treated as late cancellations and the deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to secure the rescheduled appointment.

Nubia-Initiated Cancellations

In the event that Nubia needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to therapist unavailability, facility issues, or other circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer either a full refund of your deposit or an alternative appointment time. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
